In west-central Bay of Bengal cyclone 'Kyant' weakened into a deep depression and was moving southwestwards west causing rain across Bangladesh.
Meteorologists said the move further in the same direction and has the potential to cross the coast of Andhra Pradesh, India, Friday or Saturday.
"It is unlikely to coastline," Indian newspaper "The Hindu" M Mohapatra, the head of the country's cyclone warning was quoted as saying.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department sources said there was little chance of making landfall on the coast of Bangladesh Kyant said.
